We love renovating in the UK
Decorating and renovation website Houzz & home conducted a survey asking over 9,500 homeowners in the UK about their renovation, construction and decorating habits. It turns out people in the UK love renovating their homes, with a whopping 87% undertaking renovation projects.
Living rooms and kitchens were the most renovated spaces last year, with 44% of homeowners saying they wanted to put their stamp on their new home and make it their own. 9 out of 10 renovators hired a professional to help with their projects, showing that people wisely know when to consult an expert.
There are small changes that you can make to your home that can make a big difference, functionally and aesthetically. New interior doors can change the whole look of a room or hallway, or even adding folding or french doors to the outside. Conservatories are a great way to bring a little of the outside in and can provide a much needed second space without the cost of a big extension build.
So whether you are painting your walls or tackling a complete home refurbishment, know you are not alone, as people in the UK seem to love renovating their homes. Contact us today to discuss your next home improvement project with us.
